As a dedicated Community Development student, I'm on a mission to make a meaningful impact in the communities I serve. My academic journey has equipped me with a strong foundation in understanding the complex dynamics of community needs and sustainable development. My studies have equipped me with a strong foundation in social sciences, client analysis, and the art of effective communication. I am eager to leverage this knowledge to collaborate with organizations, NGOs, and government agencies that share my vision for building stronger, more resilient communities. One example was when I had a six month internship with Dialogue in the Dark Singapore during my final year, where I was able to conduct programmes such as daily tours and talks to raise awareness for the visually impaired. My coursework has honed my skills in community assessment, program design, and evaluation, and I've had the privilege of working on projects that have allowed me to put theory into practice. One example is my Final Year Project Katalyst Koi, where I planned and conducted five programmes at Campus Impact to address the socio-emotional needs of underprivileged children. As I believe in the power of collaboration and community engagement to address pressing social issues, I am open to networking and exploring opportunities to connect with fellow change-makers, and organizations that share my vision of building more resilient, vibrant, and inclusive communities. Feel free to reach out—I'm here to learn, grow, and collaborate.
