I am a recent graduate of Simpson College which is where I majored in Marketing Communications and minored in Psychology, Interactive Media and Honors. It all began when I took a news writing class my freshman year of college and quickly found myself joining Student Media. I did a little bit of it all, but my top roles were Editor-in-Chief and Advertising Manager/Web Editor. I broadcast on radio for my own show, filmed news packages and even photographed NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament games. I tried to take advantage of every opportunity I was afforded.Student Media was my first love, but it wasn’t the only one I had while in college. Getting involved with audio/visual recording for the music program at Simpson and dealing more in depth with social media and live posting events through Esports were incredible experiences.I’ve tried my hand at every form of media I could because I wanted to grow my knowledge in the industry. I inevitably fell in love with the art of telling a story and have always had the passion for creating things from a very young age. Bringing a story to life, especially something I can see clearly in my mind beforehand, is one of my favorite things to do.
