Growing up in a small farm town in Northeast Missouri, I was not exposed to many cultures. Small town farming life is all I knew for most of my childhood. I saw the farm life as quite mundane and knew I wanted to do something else with my life from a young age. I loved when my family would go on vacation to big cities as I found these places much more exciting than my hometown. This is where my love of traveling began. Since coming to college, I have met people from various backgrounds, each having their own diverse cultures. I have become obsessed with meeting new people and learning about their cultures and hope to find a career that will allow me to travel and continue doing this.I am a very goal-oriented individual. I make lists and work on things in a sequential order. I have always been involved in extra-curricular activities in the form of sports or student organizations. This has conditioned me to work well with teams.
