Chief Security Officer & Director Risk Management

Patient Safety: - Establish and Implement a patient safety framework and program for eHealth focused on the IT related patient safety risks and incidents. Access Management Services: - Direct this unit in the provisioning of access to provincial electronic health records. - Establish on-boarding, off-boarding and account recertification process for the 45,000 provincial health sector users

Highlights:- Achieved PCI compliance for the Travel Insurance Coordinators Company using tokenization technology to remove the risk of storing credit cards numbers within our environment. This has the added benefit of reducing total cost of PCI compliance through simplified annual certification processes. - Established self -service SSO technologies as the standard for client facing services as an enabling technology to help achieve a single view of the client to allow distributed departments, systems and companies to provide a better client experience. - During CUMIS acquisition was seconded as a project manager to manage the project to migrate all client facing applications to the cooperators environment. This project was completed ahead of schedule, under budget with no negative effects to the 500 credit union locations across Canada. The program which this project was a component of won the 2011 Project of the Year award from the south Saskatchewan chapter of PMI. - Merge physical and information security practices under one governance model within CLIC.
