The Department of Conservation and Natural Resources is working to engage individuals in participation on an advisory council to help:- Inform the agency’s work- Address diversity, equity, and inclusion issues- Create lasting change and necessary conditions to ensure all Pennsylvanians feel welcome on public lands.The NextGen Advisory Council will bring fresh perspectives to the department by listening to the viewpoints of younger participants.Input from the NextGen Advisory Council will be used to identify new approaches to the department's programs, facilities, community programs, and other opportunities.The goal of this input is to help the department find effective ways to offer recreation for all and to provide an ongoing communication channel between the department and this important segment of current and potential environmental stewards.

As hub coordinator and delegate, Caleb was responsible for the daily operations of Sunrise Movement Lancaster. Caleb maintained the hub's email list, communicated to the public via the local newspaper, and ran the chapter's various social media platforms. In addition, he along with a core team planed the political strategy for the hub. His most notable accomplishments are passing a climate debate resolution at the Pennsylvanian State Young Democrats Convention, holding serval climate strikes, and growing the hub's leadership after a dry period. Caleb worked on coaching new hubs in the surrounding area and began to strengthen ties with other climate organizations including, the NAACP, Citizen's Climate Lobby, the Sierra Club. He also set up a Coordinated PAC and planned a climate strike with several hundred attendees.

As Campaign Finance Coordinator, Caleb created a multitude of in-depth guides for hundreds of local Sunrise Hubs. These guides included steps to creating and maintaining state and federal PACs. Guides were easy to understand and based on hours of research on several states' election laws. Caleb also consulted with several campaign finance resources, including Bolder Advocacy. Moreover, Caleb helped to create an action-oriented endorsement guide with compliance advice.In addition, he was a vital resource in building out the core team and creating several work processes, including building out a team of experts to provide feedback in key work areas, including compliance, campaign finance, and team building.

As Interim Campaign Manager for the Hammond for PA Congressional Campaign, Caleb helped create a working budget, planned events, set up campaign software including G-Suite, NGP VAN, and Google Voice. He also helped to create a cohesive public narrative and was instrumental in crafting a complete policy portfolio for PA's 11th Congressional District. Moreover, Caleb helped connect the campaign with various consultants and volunteers. In addition to traditional campaign roles, Caleb helped create a welcoming campaign office by remodeling the office with new drywall and paint.

He hosted several town-halls for Jess King, a congressional candidate and strived to get students involved in the community by canvassing and phone banking. Caleb also prepared the College Democrats of Millersville for several debates on the topics of healthcare, education, immigration, welfare, and gun control policy.

As stuTAC manager, Caleb was able to streamline several processes and make the turnaround time for tickets much shorter. He often solved issues with creative solutions and tried his best to fix software with precise solutions instead of reinstalling the operating system. Caleb oversaw the completion of thousands over IT Tickets during his tenure and always put the customer first. Caleb would often go above and beyond his job title to ensure the department put it's best foot forward.
