I'm Caleb Knox, I am a student at Point Park University and currently pursuing a bachelor's in Sports Communication with a minor in PR/AD and social media. I am fully involved in the Esports Program at Point Park, where I not only participate as an athlete but as a member of crew. I don't like to keep myself beholden to one job or aspect of esports. I have directed broadcasts, observed games, commentated games, work as camera operator, and several other positions. I have also worked with ours to create our integrated marketing communications plan, a comprehensive recruiting work book with over 200 schools from 4 states, built an extensive stats book using formulas to automate most of the desired information, and many more smaller projects. It's an experience that is tough, rigorous but rewarding. I'm currently the team captain of Point Park's Rocket League team, one of the three premier esports offered at the program. I am entrusted with running practices, setting objectives and fostering a team first approach. I haven't undertaken a task quite like this and it has been quite a challenging experience. However it's taught me how to be a leader, how to effectively plan ahead, and what it means to work as a team.
