I joined a cross-functional team to work on the award-winning Safaricom M-PESA Consumer App, collaborating with mobile developers, designers, api/back-end developers, product owners and testers.My daily work involved writing code in Kotlin and Java, using technologies and tools such as Jenkins, Dynatrace, Koin, and Realm; and maintaining a multi-module MVVM architecture app; where I:- Implemented new features to enhance the existing software.- Performed code reviews, refactoring, and peer programming to ensure a clean, maintainable, and easy-to-read codebase.- Collaborated closely with software quality engineers and UI/UX designers to maintain high application quality.I took on significant responsibilities by implementing substantial features across various business and architectural domains, including:- Developing "Pochi La Biashara," a feature designed for business owners.- Integrating the use of Bonga Points for purchasing goods and paying bills.- Upgrading the app's architecture to support a distinct account category tailored for children (Child Account).- Leveraging atomic redesign efforts for the app's top-level destination interfaces.Additionally, I contributed to the M-PESA Business App, and on Fast Login, Frequent Services, Fuliza, Statements, Wallets, Chat, and more.

As a Developer Student Club Lead my responsibilities were :-Reach out students on my campus to learn about Google technologies and tech in general-Help students to create technological solutions in my community-Guide and bring teams together during the development of the applications, and to ensure that they are using the tools and designing the solution in the right way.-Organize and host tech events, study jams and conferences for students-Connect students and bring them together to learn informally
