Doherty IT are a reactive break fix Microsoft centric support company of 25 users based in London, where I reported to the Technical Operations Manager.Commenced employment as a first line Engineer and progressed to Helpdesk Manger within 18 months.Technical skills developed included support and troubleshooting of Windows 2000 -2003 Server products and 2000-XP and Vista Operating Systems. Further support skills were attained in Exchange, ISA, Cisco, BES server and DFS-R.I then transitioned into project based field work that included both standard and swing migrations for SBS 2000 to 2003, Server replacement projects, Blackberry Enterprise Server deployments and Citrix solutions.My final project for Doherty IT included the migration of a FSA regulated Hedge fund from its parent company to a completely self contained infrastructure and FSA compliant DR solution that included distributed computing for head office and the 3 regional offices.
