I’ve spent my entire life devoted to the pursuit of my interests in fashion, toys, and games- the “fun” stuff, but nothing makes me happier than a defined system with clear rules and expectations. Attention to detail, problem solving, and interdisciplinary teamwork is my game.That being said, right now I’m living my best sales professional life. I thrive on the routine of the set framework of selling, combined with the unpredictable nature of an ever-changing client base and set of needs and wants. Remember that thing I said about problem solving? Retail sales is all that, all the time. I love the process of needs discovery and fulfillment, especially when it involves sending my client home smiling in a head to toe outfit!With two years of full time sales experience under my belt, I feel extremely confident in my skills in lead generation, needs assessment, negotiation, and empathy. In combination with this, I’ve grown alongside my team and I can thank them for helping me to develop my mentorship, conflict resolution, and collaboration skills. I have worked with a broad spectrum of people from freight coordinators to district managers on everything from visual design to hiring decisions to inventory requests, and I’ve learned more than I’d ever imagined. In the time I’ve spent as Assistant Manager of my location, I’ve held consistent positions as top salesman in a team of 10, both in sales per hour and average sale. I’ve also reinstated a system of review for our team based on their weekly performance reviews, with a focus on evaluating their sales numbers, identifying points for growth, and collaborating on a goal for the next week.
