I am a Configuration and Test Analyst passionate about working with like-minded people striving to make a positive change in the world. During my computing studies (Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at RMIT), I experimented with machine learning to analyse large datasets, programmed cloud-based websites and tools, worked in a team to build Pac-Man AI agents and explored cybersecurity, data science and professional coding ethics while becoming proficient in:➤Development languages and tools, ranging from HTML/CSS to Java, C++, Python, JavaScript and AWS➤Software programs such as GitHub, Photoshop, Linux➤Related techniques like UX (User Experience), requirements analysis, software testing, professional computing practices, Agile methodologies and Project ManagementI may be an atypical technology / computing professional in that I enjoy working with people as much as with code, and I'm at my best when coordinating group work and collaborating with a team on delivery. I'm an avid self-taught designer and my top VCE mark was in English, so my creative and writing skills have also been put to use in many a presentation and showcase. I particularly enjoy translating complex technical subjects into compelling narratives.I like to find ways to bring my computing and creative skills to the job: for example, I developed a catering solution in my previous position at BOUNCEinc that extracts data from daily log files to cut down on staff time and ordering errors, streamline the ordering process and present the information staff need to ensure a better experience for customers — the tool is now used by staff at my former venue and others around the country. I'm self-motivated with a solid work ethic, articulate and outgoing. Now working in the Transformation Team at Maurice Blackburn Lawyers, I’m excited to be able to apply and extend the skills I developed at university, keep learning, and work within a culture dedicated to providing access to justice for all. This fits perfectly alongside my interests in D&I and ESG, as my professional goal is to work on projects that will enable me to apply technology to solve societal and environmental problems.
