As a key figure within the purchasing department my role includes developing supplier relationships, negotiating pricing and promotional structures and general stock holdings. Within this, the Frozen at Sea Fish Category is an aspect of the business that I am developing closely through both procurement and strategic improvements. This role combines strategic and creative thinking along with constant communication which are traits I would deem as my strengths. The Frozen at Sea Category is fast paced through the nature of commodity buying. In the niche industry of Fish & Chips, the sales strategy and forecasting elements makes my this role continuously engaging. Each day is a new challenge! Whether it be creating a vision for the sales force, to organising outside storage locations and stock stock movements, the diversity of this role means that I am constantly part of multi divisional team and positioned in a multi functional role.

Responsible for the development of the department by implementing and evaluating the current marketing strategy.One project, I was tasked with was the successful implementation of an e-mail marketing tool to help communicate with customers whilst having the capability to analyse open and click through rates. Often a member of a cross-departmental team, the diffusion of information surrounding market trends was imperative in promoting the correct products at the correct times along with providing other functions such as the procurement team with relevant information.

Working since the age of 16, I have been surrounded with a customer driven ethos and I have vast experience with dealing with customer service on a shop-floor. The company has also allowed me to gain experience in other fields such as delivery where I have acquired a greater understanding in variety of tasks. The sales experience has created a hunger for success and customer satisfaction as I aim to please in every encounter benefiting the company and my rapport with every client.
