I decided to start my own business with an ex-supervisor of mine. It is something I have always been driven to do but felt I previously didn't have enough experience until now. We design, manufacture, test, support and repair low voltage and low production wiring harnesses. Having most of our combined experience in Motorsport, through this change we have had the opportunity to take on some specialist projects including yacht and automotive projects to widen our knowledge and enhance the quality of harnesses in other industries.I am very much looking forward to the opportunities with Project DC.

Greatworth Park, Nr. Banbury

Primarily responsible for the Build and Management of all electrical harnesses in the Ford GT race cars. I was also the on-event support for the two Ford GT's taking part in the World Endurance Championship. While back at the factory and during free time on-event I learnt to read, understand and interpret the data recorded by the race cars. During pit stops, my role was 'gun man', requiring me to fit and tighten the wheels.

Banbury

• Chosen as one of three apprentices from hundreds of applicants, which included tests and an assessment day.• Developed to building chassis looms at apprentice level, not normally job based until Full Electrical Technician status.• Asked to move onto Junior Electrical Technician before completion of apprenticeship. • Invited and accepted position as Full Electrical Technician (September 2014) after only 6 months as a Junior Electrical Technician. • Three successful seasons of WEC as the only Electrical Technician. • Taking part in pit stops as a driver assist.• Depended upon by the team to support all electrical matters.• On the team of car #95 for Aston Martin Racing, winning Le Mans 2014 and World Championship winners 2014.• Positive internal memos from engineer giving Congratulations on my performance.• Competent in building GTE, GT3, GT4, mini/golf rally car and looms for Ben Ainslie Racing.• Completed Motorsport engineering qualification to Merit standard.
