Proud to oversee the first electric vehicle build and 4th overall in design in 2023 and begin the transition to an integrated driverless vehicle through my final year project. In 2022 I led the design and manufacture of the teams 2022 combustion vehicle from start to finish, taking the car to victory at the 2022 FSUK competition. Bringing the team back from 1 and a half years of remote working, and pushing the limits of our team resources, presenting to sponsors and supporting trusts, and continuing to teach and develop the practical skills lost over the Covid19 period.
Working in the family business of metal fabrication and general engineering, developing a vast understanding of mechanical systems and designing for manufacture as well as gaining practical experience in tig, mig and arc welding, metal fabrication, gearbox assembly and precision engineering.
