Manage off site testing process for clients including generating method statements, liaise with relevant test house regarding rig design, supervise installation and witness testing.Manage on site testing process for clients including generating method statements, witness testing and may arrange test teams.Undertake inspections of site installations compiling reports as required.Undertake suppliers or fabrication subcontractor audits compiling reports as required.Coordinate CE marking procedures.

Responsible for technical compliance of façade envelopes installed by the business providing cost effective solutions.Responsibilities include;Enquiry support including technical reviews of specifications, schematic thermal acoustic and glass calculations to support bids.Attending bid meetings if required.Review of contract specifications Review proposed systems for projects and the concept design principles.Attend project meetings as required.Produce full thermal calculations for contract projects including U value and condensation risk analysis.Produce through wall acoustic calculations.Review and endorse system test data and glass performance data sheets prior to project Technical Submissions.Undertake and coordinate reviews of door requirement and propose solutions prior to drawing issue.Generate method statements for off site testing, liaise with relevant test house regarding rig design, supervise installation in conjunction with Ops dept and witness testing.Review and endorse method statements for on site testing prior to this taking place.Undertake inspections of site installations as required.Undertake reviews of proposed supplier’s or fabrication subcontractors and report to the project teams prior to selection of such suppliers. Liaise and visit factory (in house or subcontract) during fabrication as required.Maintain technical library literature library, with the intention of defaulting to electronic documents.Produce guidance notes dealing with common issues and undertake toolbox talks to present their contents.Coordinate CE marking procedures.Managing a technical team to action the above liaising closely with Design, operations and Bid managers.

Responsible for day to day running of Technical Department including supervision of colleagues providing technical support, training and estimation facilities to fabricator customers.Responsible for the conception, design, testing and introduction of the Eco75 system development utilising both UK based resources and those within Belgium HQ.Ongoing development of further new products and upgrading of existing systems to conform to relevant BS and EN standards etc.Introduced Reynaers fire rated products to the UK. Primary point of contact for special projects, liaising both with architects and developers as well as fabricators.

Responsible for all Thermal Calculations (inc. Heat loss and condensation risk analysis). Developed excel spreadsheets for these and proficient in Finite Element Analysis software incl. BISCO, TRISCO and Therm.Responsible for QA site inspections to check installations for compliance with drawings, calculations and company standards with reports and recommendations produced accordingly.Involvement with supervision of on site hose testing.Managed off site testing incl. Specifications, method statements, installation and test witnessing.
