Working as part of the AWS Vancouver team across a wide variety of projects with a central focus on the highly availabile and reliable S3 offering. Helped mentor and onboard new hires and helped train older members of the team on new functionalities.Led a number of projects primarily utilising Apache's Hadoop MapReduce framework, including entirely new systems, extensions to existing systems and integration with other teams' systems. Through these projects gained experience using a variety of AWS tools including Step Functions, CloudFormation, EC2, Redshift and Cloudwatch.

Worked in ANZ's Melbourne office in a number of agile squads on the backend system behind ANZ App during it's transition from GrowMoney. Helped set up the onsite Fiserv team and grow our presence within the Digital Customer Experience space.Specific projects include: cloud deployment and pipeline migration to Azure DevOps, new app onboarding and migration, enabling multi-registration for customers with multiple bank profiles, WCF+SOAP to WebAPI+Rest service migration and Site Reliability Engineering efforts.Highly involved with team mentorship, guidance, support and advice alongside increasing levels of involvement with system architectural design and team standards creation.

Worked on a Australia's New Payment Platform (NPP/PayId) project implementation with strict availability and performance requirements outside of the typical Fiserv codebase. Involved in training clients and internal staff in both Australia and India to help meet the project meet strict penetration and non-functional test standards.Involved in interviewing candidates, mentoring new hires and dissemination of information throughout the internal .NET development community.Won the "Employee of the Year" award for 2016, maintained a 100% "fix first time" defect record and involved in internal event and team-building initiatives.
