Following my secondment as the Operations Lead on the EVO Works Management project I have returned to my Regional Manager role covering the management & leadership of contracting staff in the areas of Electrical Distribution & Industrial maintenance & projects along with supporting construction & maintenance of Northpower's Fibre Network. Northpower's Northland contracting group consists of approximately 180 staff (of approx 1000 contracting staff across the North Island of NZ).

On secondment from my Northland Regional Manager position to be the Contracting Operational Management Lead in Northpower Contracting's Project EVO, a significant and strategic Business Transformation Change Management Project for both Northpower and West Coast Energy Contracting Groups. Included within the project is the implementation of JD Edwards ERP/WMS combined with ClickSoftware optimised scheduling and mobilty system complemented by significant business wide process re-engineering.

Expansion of my Whangarei Area Manager role to also include the Northpower Warkworth Depot. Management of contracting staff in the areas of Electrical Transmission (Lines), Distribution, Industrial along with significant involvement in the Northpower led Crown Fibre Whangarei Network build. Northpower's Northland contracting group consists of approximately 240 staff (of approx 1000 contracting staff across NZ and Australia).

Area Manager of Northpower's Whangarei Electrical and Fibre Contracting business. Northpower's Whangarei's contracting group consists of approximately 180 staff (of approx 1000 contracting staff across NZ and Australia) primarily offering maintenance and project services to the Northpower Electricity Network. With the recent Crown Fibre award we are also commencing the build of a complete new Fibre network in the Whangarei area.

Wellington

Following Northpower's successful tender to provide maintenance services to Wellington Electricity I was engaged to lead the Transition project, involving establishing of a new Northpower depot in Petone, recruitment and commencement of approximately 100 employees, confirmation of new processes, establishment of office and logistical services. The transition period was just over three months culminating in the commencement of delivery of all field services from 1st March 2011.

Began as Apprentice Electrical Fitter completing training as Registered Electrician & Protection Test Technician. Predominantly working on Maintenance & Capital Projects for Transpower (Electricity Transmission) through to Project Supervision for Distribution Electrical works
