San Leandro is an unqiuely diverse location that home to people of many different backgrounds. As a summer intern to the San Leandro Public Works Department, I created several multi-lingual infographics and other promotional materials to ensure San Leandro residents adequately understand the services provided by the Public Works Department and what they can do to ensure an environmentally-healthy city.

As the student board member for HUSD, I speak for my over 19,000 fellow peers on important issues across HUSD and bring student concerns to the Hayward Education Board. Inspiring change within my local community, I have advocated for various positive changes within HUSD, including the successful implementation of the State Seal of Civic Engagement for HUSD high school students and an allocation of $5000 to each Leadership class in HUSD's high schools.
