I front new developments and improvements to our Industrial heating products. My work centers around planning and executing projects to increase the reliability, manufacturability, and effectiveness of our Industrial products both reactively and proactively. I work with sheet metal design and automated manufacturing on a daily basis. I am responsible for ensuring: 1. Potential improvements to our industrial products are identified, and plans of action/timelines are being made to integrate new solutions. 2. Product documentation is up to date, and legacy documentation is modernized correctly in accordance with recognized company standards. 3. Production methods are up to date, and sheet metal parts are being fabricated utilizing our full production capabilities. 4. Parts and unit assemblies are being continuously optimized to further improve performance, manufacturability, and longevity in harsh conditions.5. Revision control is maintained correctly.6. Strong communications between production is maintained for continuous product improvements.

I employed a hands-on approach to ensure that the highest standards of quality were maintained throughout the production process. I used kaizen methodology to enhance both production and product quality. I also conducted FMEA studies to proactively identify potential failure modes in processes and implement corrective actions. I often utilized production capability data to assess and enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of production processes while incorporating new quality initiatives. Day to day responsibilities: 1. Apply statistical analysis techniques to identify patterns, trends, and outliers related to product quality, enabling data-driven decision-making.2. Lead investigations into quality issues, perform root cause analyses, and develop/implement corrective and preventive actions.3. Collaborate cross-functionally with floor production, engineering, and other teams to ensure quality standards are met and exceeded.4. Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of quality control processes, procedures, and results.5. Provide training and support to production teams to ensure a strong quality culture and adherence to established quality standards and initiatives.

I aid students in applying advanced mathematics to real world engineering scenarios. I assist students in their understanding of advanced mathematical concepts involving differential equations, systems of differential equations, Fourier transforms, and Laplace equations. I also help manage communications between students and their professor.

I conducted research into advanced mathematical models for rigid and non-rigid foldable mechanisms. My team was tasked with finding better ways to incorporate compliant hinge mechanisms within a complexed folding system. We explored the use of dual quaternions and Rodriguez rotation matrices to efficiently model panel motion.

Within Ford Pro-Intelligence, I worked directly with product managers to create user stories for upcoming software products. I was tasked with supporting the testing and launch of upcoming products, and create internal feature documentation for design presentations and revisions. I also conducted research into user feedback reports on production vehicle based software. I was able to diagnose issues, provide quality improving solutions, and utilize internal and external resources to determine how each solution could positively affect software behavior. I was also able to conduct in vehicle testing to provide final validations of my provided solutions.

I worked with structured teams to prepare the hotel for master dining and ballroom events.▪ Provided service to guests with exceeding formality.▪ Conducted meetings with department heads to report team progress.▪ Worked auxiliary duties in food preparation and serving, and also in conducting appliance repair.

At Visteon, I worked with a small select group of students along side an amazing team of specialized mentors. I learned skills applicable to real world engineering, and furthered my leadership skills. I learned the basics of how an automotive engineering firm operates, and its many levels of organization. Furthermore, I extended my networking skills, and was able to prepare for a professional work environment. I worked with various engineers who explained the basics and inner workings of their field, and taught me various skills important to solving problems and managing time. I gained experience with automotive software and electronics, by learning the process of flashing car software with the aid of my mentors. I gained knowledge about the many systems a car uses to relay its information, and gained a good understanding of the different types of automotive information buses. I also worked with automotive software and hardware testing over various vehicle sub-systems.
