- Conducted peel and shear Instron testing on heat-activated film adhesive trials, magnet friction swatches, and hook and loop to characterize different aspects of client projects.- Programmed KUKA robot arm for improved cyclic electrical conductivity testing and fabricated custom testing fixtures using SLA 3D printing. Soley was responsible for executing testing protocol over many weeks to collect data, complete analysis, and present the deck to the client.- Led Design of Experiement (DOE) for large adhesive trial client request and created custom testing fixtures for unique 90-degree peel test. Completed testing protocol while problem solving to fix issues that arose to ensure valid results for client presentation deck. - Utilized MATLab to analyze hook and loop data to understand normalized peel strength across multiple peaks. Used Keyence digital microscope to understand hook and loop mechanisms to validate reported findings for the presentation deck I created. - Revitalized prior work on machine capabilities swatches to develop a custom facility tour to introduce a team from a large Japanese company to an important development workshop.

Continued to hone product design skills through iterative prototyping of internal and external product builds. Utilized tensile testing to characterize custom knit stretch and recovery in large testing programs. Proposed an individual project to develop a system to showcase machine capabilities. Material swatches were fabricated to show each machine’s operations and capabilities with an emphasis on the presentation for use in location tours for high-level clients.

I worked at Bilio, a textile-based industrial design and product development prototyping firm. As a product design engineer intern, I completed both internal and external projects including spearheading the revival of a high-level internal project. External projects allowed me to gain experience working with clients and large companies. Additional projects were completed both individually and in teams, utilizing tensile testing, product design, prototyping, and adept use of many industrial machines.

I worked at the front of the store helping customers with checking out and processing returns. In addition, I made myself available and flexible to help where needed in other areas of the store.
