About Rodrigo Camargo

I am an Electronic Technician with 20 years of experience. I have a range of experience from medical devices and telecommunication to oilfield sensors, downhole gauges and surface equipment, also, offshore and onshore operations. I worked in Schlumberger Brazil for 10 years where I lead the Calibration Centre for more than 6 years, been responsible for the implementation of several calibration and maintenance projects, always aiming to high efficiency in QHSE.I graduated at the University of Taubaté as electronic technician in 2001, worked for almost 3 years in a public hospital when I passed a public tender in first place. I left the job to start a new career in oilfield for Schlumberger.At Schlumberger I started as maintenance technician for surface equipment where I worked for 2 years. After that I was transferred to the calibration lab where I worked for 8 years.Between 2014 and 2020 I was responsible for different skills such as calibration, surface and downhole Well Testing electronic equipment.During the period that I worked in the oil industry I had the opportunity to complete several courses in the area and implement several projects such as expanding the calibration laboratory to other product lines, and also other companies’ sensors and transducers, such as Emerson Process and Metrolog.I was also responsible for the development and implementation of the electronic maintenance laboratory model for Well Testing, and the implementation at the training center in France and at the operational base in Trinidad.
