I am an artist and designer, working in video games, and the founder of Carpe Diem Interactive.During the past twelve years I have successfully contributed to video game projects that span a range of sizes and visual styles. I have created art for numerous devices and hardware, from mobile to console, to PC's and VR. My key positions involve Character Art, Environment Art, Lighting, Concepting, Art Direction, and Creative Direction.Previously I served as a Character/Environment Artist at E-Line Media, where we created the BAFTA award-winning Never Alone. Later, as Art Director, I ensured Never Alone made the transition to mobile, retaining its powerful visuals, properly optimized, and with a newly designed touch UI. This included creative development, art direction, concept art production, asset creation, and management of a talented art team.• R&D of technologies, methods, characters, vehicles, structures, creatures, and environments for world-building, as well as high level explorations and proposals for level objectives, situations, and mechanics to meet our tonal goals through play and visuals.• Travel to Hawaii, Chicago, Norway, and England for meetings with NGOs, Cultural Ambassadors, Scientific Advisers, and Public Service Organizations for project feasibility and vision/alignment investigations.• Participation in a number of rapid prototype Game Jams (digital and physical) to validate and iterate designs. I created a wide range of art assets for the BAFTA award winning game Never Alone.
