Romania

The Economic and Social Council (ESC) in Romania is an independent advisory body for the Parliament and the Government, set up by law, with the purpose of achieving national tripartite dialogue. In the process of drafting legislation ECS is mandatory consulted by the initiators of any public policy or legislation. ESC role is to assess and issue advice (positive or negative) on draft legislation. ESC membership is equally divided among employers' organizations, trade unions and civil society. I represented the civil society in the Commission for Citizens Rights and Freedoms, Equal Chances and Treatment. During the mandate I have analyzed, assessed and advised on hundreds of bills and public policies submitted by the Government or Romanian Parliament.

Organized training programs, TOTs, conferences and workshops for institutional leadership development.
