Achieved my 6 year Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship with Score in march 2014 and am now a fully qualified Valve Technician. This has given me a Modern Apprenticeship in Mechanical Manufacture Engineering along with my NC & HNC in Mechanical Engineering.
I have gained skilled experience in various different valve departments since starting with Score in which i received an SVQ level 2 & level 3 in Mechanical Assembly.

I specialise in the Strip down/Inspection/Refurbish/Assembly/Pressure Testing of various valves and valve operating systems. 

Overseas Experience 
-Australia Brisbane and perth: on two different occasions providing assistance at their onshore base during their busy Shutdown period.Ireland: to the Corrib Gas Plant for Pressure Safety Valve and control valve Campaign. Israel: on a general valve shut down.Holland: commissioning of the BLP project for Repsol caring out from shipyard to first gas. Malaysia: spent 2 years on Exxon Mobil platforms Canada: providing support for there control valve work scope. Houston: carried out testing Job for BP 

Offshore Experience
- April 2014-current
- Worked on numerous platforms across the North Sea. Completing Mechanical Maintenance, PSV Campaigns and Valve Service work. 

Familiar with the ISSOW/Permit to Work system, have a good working knowledge of Risk Assessment through participation whilst working under the different ISSOW systems, P&ID’s, technical valve drawings & good understanding about the strong safety culture.
I would describe myself as a motivated, performance driven individual who takes pride in their work and pays a particular attention to detail in order to achieve results.. I posess excellent communicational skills and am a great team worker. I enjoy solving problems in order to complete jobs to the highest standard. I embrace new challenges and am very keen in learning and developing new skills to further my career.
