Aimbridge Hospitality is a Texas-based third-party management company in the hospitality industry. Launching in 2003 with only 8 properties, Aimbridge has since grown a portfolio of over 1,500 hotels in more than 20 countries. Aimbridge continues to lead the hospitality industry with its best-in-class management services.As the assistant general manager at multiple properties, my responsibilities included overseeing day-to-day operations at the hotels, maintaining brand standards, and upholding our commitment to guest satisfaction. I was also responsible for organizing several administrative and financial tasks, including hiring, onboarding, and maintaining employee files, as well as keeping up with accounts receivable and accounts payable.I am most proud to have assisted with two different multi-million dollar property sales, as well as the successful and seamless transition between owners.

Sunridge Hotels began operations in 1981 developing small office and apartment properties along with their first hotel project (the Best Western Pinetop Inn) in Pinetop, Arizona. Sunridge joined Marriott in 1999 and has since received numerous awards including multiple “Management Company of the Year” awards, multiple “Best New Opening” awards and awards for highest “Guest Satisfaction Scores” (GSS), just to name a few. Sunridge is also a nine-time recipient of Marriott’s most prestigious award, “The Partnership Circle Award”, which is presented to Marriott’s top Management & Development Companies.It was during my tenure at the Fairfield Inn and Suites in Clovis, NM that I was introduced to the world of hotels. Drawing on skillsets I had honed over years working in restaurants, I quickly found that I had a particularly easy time relating to guests and anticipating their needs and expectations. I formed a fast rapport with the regular and long-term guests, creating valuable memories for both me and them. Our team achieved high scores in our Quality Assurance (QA) audits and brought in awards every year for property excellence and GSS scores. One of my favorite personal achievements was being the first person in the history of the property to get full points for implementation of Marriott’s customer issue resolution model during our QA.
