With a love for the written word and an eye for detail, my interest in law and the tedious work that it requires gave way to becoming passionate about editing and publishing. I learned through my time working at a real estate law firm that your work is only as good as the integrity of its details, and this is something that I have since carried into all areas of my work. Notorious among my peers for my fine-tooth-comb style of editing papers for classes and high expectations for my own written work, I truly love to make something the best that it can be. Teaching dance during my time in college has also taught me a lot about teamwork and collaboration with other teachers, as well as how to manage the strengths and weaknesses of a broadly dynamic group. With a strong work ethic and a love for fun as well, I seek to make my dance classrooms a place of structure as well as an oasis. Striking this balance is not always easy, but with a commitment to both the overall well-being of my students and the excellence of their dances, I strive to make servant leadership the standard.
