It is my goal at Hidden Creek Landscaping to make the landscape design process as easy and efficient as possible for the client as well as the production team. Through constant communication and diligence, I provide the customer with solutions to any landscaping problems they may have and create a livable space for them to enjoy for years to come. It is my job to convey the wants and needs of the client to the production team so a seamless construction process takes place and the customer is left with a quality end result.

As a landscape designer for Oakland Design Associates, I'm able to experience the 'design' part of the 'design/build' sector of residential and commercial landscape architecture. Working along side our other very skilled and experienced designers, I hone my techniques and skills to grow as a more well rounded designer.When needed in the office, I answer the phone lines to assist customers with plant questions, entering them into our database, or directing their call to another part of the nursery/office. I set up meetings with prospective clients to discuss any landscaping problems that they may have. Estimates and design plans are given to the client prepared by myself as solutions to their landscape problems. Once given a start date for the project, I arrive to the job site with the foreman and crew workers to walk them through the project and ensure everything gets dealt with. Once the job is complete, I check back in the with client to make sure all problems were solved and that they are enjoying the new renovations to their landscape.

As a project foreman for Oakland Nursery, I continued my hands on landscape experience working even closer with our designers to better implement landscape plans into both commercial and residential settings. In-field design changes were my responsibility, as well as communicating between the designer and the client about any other design changes or questions that may arise. As a foreman, it was my job to delegate assignments to each of the crew members for each particular project in an efficient manner.

Upon starting as a crew worker with Oakland Nursery, I was appointed to a skilled foreman to learn the 'build' side of the design/build sector of residential and commercial landscape architecture. Working closely with the landscape designers on staff, I helped install and implement landscape plans, varying from simple residential foundation plantings to custom large scale waterfall features for commercial sites.

At Eventide, I measured the interior layouts of all the properties owned by the company. Once measured, I drew up floor plans for the properties in AutoCAD and created PDF's to be used on the company's website.

As an intern at Capstone Property Management, I helped design landscape features for various properties owned and maintained by the company. I measured, drafted floor plans (AutoCAD) and constructed graphic maps (Illustrator) of existing properties for the company's website. While working on the computer and performing various other tasks, I took calls and worked with tenants and other visitors to the office. When needed, I helped in maintaining and installing landscape features of various properties owned by Capstone.
