As a current Occupational Science and Therapy student at Grand Valley State University, I believe in the power of client-centered and holistic care to improve patient quality of life. Through my education, I have utilized evidence-based practice, planned interventions, worked in an interdisciplinary team, and developed therapeutic relationships. These experiences have allowed me to be successful in my fieldwork placements in outpatient pediatrics, psychosocial, and acute care. I will start my level II fieldwork placements in inpatient rehab and acute care in the coming months. I intend to utilize all the skills I have developed to provide complete care that will allow patients to be independent and lead fulfilling lives.
