I recently graduated from Western Governors University with my Bachelors of Science degree in Business- Human Resource Management, and I currently work for RC Willey Home Furnishings in Salt Lake City as a Human Resource Assistant. I work alongside the HR Manager at our corporate office and the HR Representative at our main warehouse. Some of my main responsibilities are to assist in the hiring process of applicants by contacting their references, conducting interviews, and helping them complete new hire paperwork.I also assist our Benefits department in a variety of tasks, including assisting employees with open enrollment and providing information about our wellness program. I am also able to process I-9 paperwork and verify employment for outside companies. I am fluent in Spanish and help in translating for our Latino employees. I bring a positive atmosphere to the workplace and I love working as part of a team.
