My name is Cameron Smith and I am a first year currently specializing in Operations Management at The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business. I am very interested in working at a retail corporation to improve efficiency and drive business growth. I am also a gymnast on The Ohio State's Women's Gymnastics team. Being a student-athlete has taught me how to effectively manage my time, maintain a strong work ethic, stay organized, communicate, and work collaboratively with others. I have learned so many valuable life lessons in the gym, and I am very confident that I can use those same lessons to help me in the workplace. Over the last few years, I worked at my club gym where I supervised and helped teach gymnastics to children during classes and summer camps. This job experience allowed me to learn how to work with a wide range of age groups. It also taught me how to stay patient, be creative, and be a role model. I am interested in a chief operating officer position, specifically in a fashion retail setting. With that being said, I am planning to minor in fashion and retail studies. In my free time, I like to listen to music, hang with friends, and go shopping.
