Hi there! I'm Cameron Stacey, a student at Texas A&M University pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Oceanography with a minor in Chemistry. With a GPA of 4.0, I've maintained a strong academic record while actively engaging in various extracurricular activities and gaining valuable work experience.My passion for oceanography and chemistry is evident in both my coursework and my hands-on experiences. As a Lab Assistant in the Fitzsimmons Lab, I honed my skills in sample analysis and research support, collaborating closely with a graduate student on extensive filter sample analysis.Outside of the lab, I am deeply involved in promoting STEM education and diversity initiatives. Through programs like A-STEP and STEMSEAS, I've engaged in outreach projects aimed at improving science literacy and encouraging underrepresented groups to pursue careers in STEM fields.
