Project manager responsible for the on-time and in-budget delivery of new modules and software features to the LiNX system and its supporting tools.Also involved in the improvement of our design control processes, to ensure they're providing value whilst being as low-cost as possible.

Key responsibilities are:*Requirements capture based on use cases.*Acting as an interface for the software development team to expand on use cases and ensure customer needs are met.*Risk analysis and associated requirement generation to ensure our regulatory responsibilities are met.*Verification of delivered systems to ensure they match requirements.*Systems architecture design to ensure compatibility within the product family for varying combinations of products running software from various releases.*Creation of controlled interfaces between the various products within the LiNX family to reduce the testing required and to reduce emergent behaviour when products of various ages are combined.Achievements include:* The development of new stability control algorithms, with a focus on front wheel drive chairs. * Improvements to system compatibility via creation of a new feature announcement system,* Improvements to our product requirement generation process and a method for ensuring the desired compatibility between products is automatically enforced. * Creating a documentation processes which auto-generates (in part) embedded software code. * Improving traceability between different versions of software functionality operating on different combinations of modules to ensure customer's needs are met.

Responsible for interfacing with customers and manufacturing team members to deliver sheet metal products of high quality, on time, for the best price. Tasks included: * Designing sheetmetal products, * Creating new CAD models for new or existing products, * Programming laser and turret punch CNC machines * Establishing product workflows and times through the production line, for product pricing.Achievements include creation of a line of fire-stop door frames for a client which incorporated modular common parts to reduce costs and ensure reliability of manufacture.

Responsibilities include:* The management and supervision of a small assembly team making rock climbing life-saving equipment. Interfacing with suppliers and working on product improvements. Achievements include:* Designing and being involved in the construction management of a new anodizing plant, including supporting inspection areas and laboratory space. With an eye to fitting into an existing building space, reusing as much reclaimed earthquake damaged equipment as possible, and creating a sensible workflow through the plant.
