When I first started at the account it was on the verge of being cancelled. The school district was unhappy with the current service. Since then I have rebuilt everything from the ground up and our contract was just renewed for another three years. My job responsibilities include hiring and firing, safety, training, payroll, budgeting, human resources, quality assurance and public relations. I was promoted to Director of Engineering and Facilities after one year as a custodial manager I manage a yearly budget of $530,000 I manage the maintenance and am responsible for all aspects of repair, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other general areas I manage the grounds including 50 acres of mow able land and have a softball, baseball, and brand new Astroturf football field. I manage the custodial team. They responsible for the cleaning of 130,000 square feet of space. After several budget cuts my account continues to exceed profit expectations. During my time with Sodexo I have had zero lost time accidents, zero recordable accidents, and one reportable accident

 Managed between 18 and 30 custodial employees Was responsible for 17 buildings throughout the city Was responsible for maintaining payroll records and employee timesheets Maintained customer satisfaction and good public relations with the client. This included meeting with principals, staff and other personnel on a regular basis. Learned to operate all custodial equipment and perform maintenance tasks. Top scrub, strip and wax floors. Clean carpets with side-by-side and extractor. Maintain tile floors with buffer and floor scrubber. This included the proper use and procedures of chemicals. Assisted in implementing a new time clock system. Learned the software and trained other managers on how to use it. Disciplined and documented employee work performance. I assisted in employee disciplinary actions up to termination.

- Developed a plan to repaint seven floors. Met with contractors and received bids. Prepared and presented report on overall cost and requirements- Collaborated with employees to create a training program for their Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Created standards for documentation- Attended safety, budget and disaster meetings with managers

- Created tests, graded documents, and presented recommendations for teaching the class- Supervised and assisted two other teaching assistants- Taught over 50 students how to use Revit/AutoCAD

- Assisted in the daily operations of seven different departments on the campus: Electrical, Grounds, Heating Plant, Roofing, Custodial, Mechanical, and HVAC- Repaired and maintained equipment such as boilers, chillers, and air handlers- Installed and built ventilation ducting
