Director of VMFA-312 Maintenance Department, responsible for teaching, coaching, and mentoring over 180 personnel across 12 divisions and ensuring production of the Maintenance Department to meet organizational mission goals in support of strategic objectives. Evaluate daily workload, conduct intermediate and long-term planning, and assign work priorities to ensure effective maintenance for eighteen $30 Million F/A-18 Fighter Jets in addition to over $50 Million in additional assets. Facilitate continuous international and domestic logistical support for 18 aircraft, 180 personnel, 22 support vehicles, and 930 pieces of specialized equipment. Successfully planned for and executed movements across 3 continents encompassing 7 different air bases, 3 modes of transport, and 6 separate supporting and higher commands.

Led, trained, and employed 48 Marines within the MALS-31 Ground Support Equipment Division. Provided material support to units operating in Japan, Poland, Norway, Finland, and Saudi Arabia, enabling accomplishment of strategic objectives. Managed over $12 million worth of assets supporting F-18 and F-35 flight operations.

Obtained approval for implementation of recommendations for Infantry Squad Leaders Course teaching unit leaders project management, operational planning, and effective employment of 15 Marine teams. Course graduates influence missions across America’s most strategically important Area of Operations.

Led, trained, and employed 12 Marines conducting operations across 3 continents. Supported squad, platoon, and company level objectives with a focus on rocket employment, demolitions usage, and small unit tactics. Personally succeeded in positions meant for individuals of higher grade, experience, and education three separate times, receiving meritorious promotion to positions of increased responsibility. Advised unit leaders and outside stakeholders on safe and effective employment of anti-armor rockets, breaching, and demolition techniques in support of mission accomplishment.Recognized for professional competence by selection to Officer Candidate School as the #1 Enlisted to Officer Commissioning Program candidate from 3rd Marine Division, an organization with over 10,000 Marines.

Worked with sales department to build carrier relationships in new markets and bid on new freight contracts, expanding spot market revenue by 20% and creating 3 new regional customer bases. Increased volume of flatbed and reefer freight shipped by 32%.Coordinated weekend operations for carrier procurement and delivery of over 5,000 shipments of Full Truckload/Less than Truckload dry goods, reefer, and flatbed shipments across the continental United States worth over $1 million.Established and maintained driver relationships, resolved warehouse issues with shippers and receivers, tracked freight movement progress using load management planning.
