Reporting to the VP of engineering, I provide an advisory function to the senior management team - driving the proliferation of analytics across the whole EXFO solution base, including the existing assurance monitoring business and also across the test and measurement solution space. I perform a technical advisory function on trends in data storage, processing and visualization technologies in the telco assurance and T&M domains. I am working with EXFO's research Edge team in longer-term projects in next-generation assurance solutions and also working with academic alliances on ML and AI use cases and prototypes with that team. I also support the Analytics and Automation business unit team with the early adoption and market penetration of the new products emerging from our incubation projects.

Leading an incubator project involving a team of data scientists/engineers and full-stack developers to develop a general-purpose anomaly detection and classification platform accepting passive, active and topology data sources from networks and from EXFO's set of assurance solutions.Objectives were to take a product from incubation to initial two customers within 9 months, and this was achieved in September 2019 with a view to launching the product in MWC 2019.
