On a team developing a real-time data streaming service for fraud detection models which utilize AWS SageMaker. Built and continuously updated feature groups from development into production with Apache Kafka/Apache Flink and Python/Java. Constructed logic to join and transform data from MySQL and PostgreSQL databases. Used native Flink tool to debug data in-transit. Collaborated with data science team to audit incoming and transformed data with Amazon Athena/Glue for data sets of 100+ GB. Unified data post-stream between feature groups using Python in a Jupyter Notebook environment. Developed Python code to parse and aggregate log files into meaningful data points and create representative graphs.

Elwood, Illinois, United States

Grounds keeping, burials, transporting of human remains, digging, entering GPS information, taking GPS points, using iPad tablets to take photos, digging, landscaping, heavy equipment operation and maintenance, time management. Training in operation of forklift, telehandler, Wacker Neuson Dumpers, Toolcats (with various attachments such as street sweepers, pallet forks, buckets, hooks) and the MTL. Experience in loading earth into vehicles and moving earth materials over long distances safely, driving on and off road, changing/airing tires and performing preventative maintenance such as greasing and cleaning, driving in very small spaces such as inside lanes of head stones and in small shop areas. Training in grounds maintenance, tampers, landscaping, raking and spreading earth/soil. Daily responsibilities to manage workflow and work with other field and office staff to aid in on time completion of the days scheduled burials as well as prep work for the following burial day.

Camp Pendleton, California

Two deployments overseas in leadership roles conducting Infantry operations in wide variates of harsh terrain (hot weather desert terrain, deep cold, jungle environments as well as moderate climates). Conducted leadership of four to 12 Marines at any given time starting on my first deployment. Conducted weekly and monthly training and performance documents to allow Marines the chance to improve upon their performance and give guidance as to what to focus on for their own personal development and the development of their on the job skill sets. Instructed Marines in weapons safety and practical application (among all other Infantry skills). Performed daily risk assessment analysis for training and PT sessions. Aided Marines under my charge with personal and professional development, advice and general problem solving ranging from housing, intrapersonal communication or leadership techniques.Armory manager of over $450,000 of combat equipment with experience in operating and maintaining HMMWV / MRAP / MATV / 7Ton vehicles. Worked with Officers and higher enlisted Marines to manage the equipment of 300+ Marines and conduct daily accountability of equipment. Using Excel and other Microsoft Office software, kept digital and physical records of whereabouts and usage time of equipment. Conducted weekly preventative maintenance of vehicles and equipment, conducted operation checks on equipment and filed reports annotating availability and state-of-repair for equipment as needed. Worked with 2-5 other Marines directly daily to manage workflow. Implemented procedures to cut issue time in half from 4-hours to 2-hours when handing out equipment to 300+ Marines for their training/operations.
