In this role I am in charge of creating and managing standardized pieces to be used for RFP and finalist responses. By working with Account Executives and others in the field, I find out what marketing needs aren't being met and strive to create powerful pieces to fill those gaps.I also provide marketing support for large RFP responses and finalist presentations on the Group Retirement Services side of the business. By working with RFP Managers and Account Executives, I determine the most effective marketing materials to provide for RFP responses and finalist presentations. I also create detailed project timelines to ensure all deadlines are met for each project and work alongside communications and design teams to create effective marketing materials that leverage both the Canada Life brand and the prospective client’s brand in order to deliver strong marketing materials in time for RFP/finalist deadlines.Additionally, I manage all marketing strategy for the Engineers Canada association group savings plan with a focus on growing plan assets and plan participation. This includes print ads, digital ads, event sponsorship, representing Canada Life at events and more.Finally, I also manage both internal and external-facing sites that house marketing materials, processes and more. I ensure they are kept up-to-date and meet all the needs of their audiences.

For 2 semesters I taught the "Principles of Marketing" course, earning student review scores higher than the College average in every single category.

In this role I was in charge of managing the marketing for the companies under the Auburn Group of Companies umbrella (TerraCorp. Management, Auburn Homes, Auburn Developments, Proof Kitchen + Lounge, The Barrel Yards, Ingersoll Golf Club & more)Some of the tasks that I handled included complete management of Google Ads search & display campaigns, building & implementing ad strategy and management on various rental platforms (Kijiji, Zumper, RentBoard etc.), facilitating the creation of print & radio ads, project managing the creation of multiple new websites for multiple companies under our umbrella, writing blogs, updating/optimizing company websites and keeping track of building leads from various advertising platforms. I also managed a direct report employee.

In this role, I was responsible for managing multiple diverse accounts and projects. This included full management of the project timelines, budget, handling all client communication for large projects and digital marketing strategies/campaigns. I also assisted in the creation of statements of work, wrote creative briefs and created engaging content pages for WordPress websites. Another key aspect of this role was ensuring retention of existing accounts through providing them strategic solutions and efficient service for whatever they needed. This role ended via a layoff due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

In this role, I was responsible for managing multiple accounts as well as assisting the Senior Account Manager on large accounts to ensure new projects progress smoothly and existing clients remain happy. Through work such as creating and monitoring project timelines, running and participating in client meetings, logging issues for clients, loading content for websites, assisting in the creation of creative briefs and more, it is my goal to ensure clients are happy and projects progress smoothly.

Continuing my contract and filling in for a leave of absence, I worked in the Stationery & Office Supplies Division division and was responsible for executing the communications strategies for the Post-it® and Scotch™ brands across various channels. In this role I worked with various agencies and internal teams to ensure the smooth execution of all of our Post-it® and Scotch™ brand marketing campaigns.

This contract position gave me the opportunity to work on the Shopper Marketing team in the CBG (Consumer Business Group) division at 3M Canada. In this role I leveraged on and off-site digital advertising tools to increase 3M product visibility on Amazon.ca. Although the role could be very diverse, I was primarily responsible for the end-to-end management (planning, execution, and reporting) of the Amazon Marketing Services (paid search) and Amazon Advertising Platform (programmatic display) tools for 3M's core consumer brands (e.g. Post-it, Scotch, Tensor)

I was hired in June 2012 to help transform an old Zellers location into a new Walmart. When that process was complete, I was moved to the electronics, photo lab, hardware, automotive and toy departments as a Customer Service Specialist (later changed to Customer Experience Specialist). I dealt with people every day in this position, helping them find exactly what they're looking for and ensuring they leave the store satisfied. My excellent customer service skills and personable nature earned me over 20 "Shining Star" awards that I was nominated for by customers.

On an 8-month co-op work term, I ran, managed and created all of the content for the Lawrence Kinlin School of Business social profiles (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn) and collaborated on various other projects such as the creation of promotional materials, speaking at events and meeting with students.I substantially grew the following and the engagement on all of the profiles during my 8 month tenure here.
