I am currently developing my skills and knowledge with three and half years of rigorous study at one of top liberal arts colleges in the country. I have earned numerous accolades for my academic and athletic achievement during my first three years at school. My interest in Computer Science and Neuroscience has matured as I have developed stronger skills and understanding of both subjects. I am excited for what the future holds in terms of brain-computer interfacing. I have recently scratched the surface of the subject by developing neural networks to both identify and segment tumors in brain MRI images. I spent the past summer working an internship as a software developer, where I made changes that were pushed to production.Prior to college, I spent many summers working to help build a company from the ground up. I experienced the discomfort and reward of starts ups. As a high schooler, I taught myself javascript in order to automate online test creation and grading to enable the company to successfully expand to more customers. I also enjoy competing in collegiate rowing and pushing my team to be the best we can be.
