I over saw AES Gauteng division where we operated and managed the energy plant on behalf of 5 industrial energy users such as food, recycling and paper & tissue processing plants. AES’s outsourced operations include the takeover of existing energy operations, as well as upgrades or new-build energy plant operations. As part of its outsourcing activities I managed a team of 50+ who were responsible for, fuel, operate and maintain the 5 sites Industrial Steam Generators / Boilers (high & low pressure),. We also launched a new site in Standerton for Noble Foods and were able to stabilise the operations with good operators and better quality fuel.I ensure that clients were charged for the quantity of energy consumed, and are billed by AES accordingly. AES retained full responsibility for all aspects of the energy operation, thus ensuring that its clients coul focus on their production and value-add processes.
