I have a passion for interacting with people. Collaborating to create a synergetic work environment is something that I always strive for. In my work experience, I've found that it is more important to be a cog in a machine that creates, instead of someone who can do a fine job by themselves. I've cultivated my time in my education and my internships knowing what worker I want to be and trying to figure out how to get there. I'm Cameron Miller and I'm ready to work with and for you. The follow up question I usually get is: "What kind of worker do you want to be?"I want to be synergetic, effective, and I want to use my skills to benefit the organization I'm hired for. My biggest fear is being the squeaky wheel and slowing down others. The goal that I am working toward and am excited to improve is not being a squeaky wheel. I’ve learned to use my communication skills to ask the right questions at the right time and engage projects with maximum clarity.I've benefited from working at a church, a non-profit, and a construction company that all emphasize doing their work ethically. I value my character and I want to place that into my work. These experiences have made me a happier, healthier, and overall better worker. Through these experiences I garnered success learning new skill sets and operating systems like Microsoft Office, Adobe Cloud, and Planning Center. These experiences helped me in my experience of event planning, volunteer recruitment and management, and production skills. On top of my technical work experience, I have an extensive and well-rounded background in customer service. This includes years worth of experience in food service, clothing, sports marketing, and entertainment retail. My ability to be personable has not only benefited my ability to work with people and invite them to interact with different brands.Overall, I’ve grown personally and professionally in all of my work experiences. I’ve become a better communicator, collaborator, and coworker in each step of my work experiences. As long as I’m working with people, I can find success anywhere.
