Utilized Python to automate Firmware development testing which increased productivity by qualify changes much faster. It saved cost by being able to duplicate and fix elusive bugs in a timely manner. Participated with a small group of engineers in designing and implementing the analog fax solution for low-end LaserJet products. Leveraged the inkjet fax solution for the low-level design. Supported this design through subsequent product generations. Developed in collaboration with other HP division first products into the low-end market. From inception to delivery to manufacturing was four months and developed streamlined processes to ensure high quality to the market. Supported engineering processes for customer support, product improvements and release to field as the only support engineer for most of the 8-year product line life cycle.

Participated in the first outsourced analog fax development model for the first low end LaserJet multifunction printer. Worked with the OEM vendor to define the user interface, implemented testing and supported regulatory testing for a worldwide introduction. Customization OEM to HP’s unique user interface needs to match overall HP UI experience model. Developed full testing methods for all aspects of the product development from R&D lab, system testing and customer acceptance. Developed issue management tracking system for sending test and results files around the world. Developed methods and processes specific to each country certification labs and ensured the product met both country specific hardware specifications and certified behavior. Each country had a unique specification that was managed to ensure country needs were met correctly.
