Over the past few years, I have worked diligently to grow the revenue of a small business with limited space. I have established strong and personal relationships with many of our customers, who now only shop my store because of my extensive knowledge of products and the beer industry. I have been given the autonomy to make educated buying decisions that have helped to make my store a Kansas City bottle shop destination. While working closely with many of my sales reps, I have gained valuable experience and learned how to utilize monthly sales promotions to buy seasonally and maximize profits. I enjoy creating floor displays and developing marketing strategies so that our customers have a well-rounded shopping experience. While most of my knowledge has been in the beer industry, I have worked with liquor sales for many years. I am proficient with spirits of all varieties. I understand differences in region, cask, distilling length, and ingredients. I can give informed recommendations on all spirits available in my store. I have created relationships with multiple repeat customers who seek my opinion in their buying experience. I have the skills to resolve customer complaints in a professional manner.I buy end of month sale items from distributors to increase profit margin for my store. I create floor displays that help customers have a visual experience of what is available in the store. I have worked with many point of sale systems and learn quickly with each new system. I am an organized person who enjoys being challenged in my work.
