During 1.5 years as a Data Scientist/Engineer at The Poken Company, I touched all kind of varied subjects :- Creating from scratch the whole Data pipeline : from MongoDB to DataStudio via Big Query -> Finding a connector from MongoDB to BigQuery was the real deal here, but we eventually found a good match and it worked- Getting real-time data : Scheduled Queries in BigQuery allowed us to get updated information every 15minutes -> At least 15 Scheduled Queries worked on the back, all of them handwritten in SQL.- Using Etherscan and Bscscan APIs in a Python script to get crypto wallets information -> Understanding the crypto world was a lot to take in, then it was all about searching in the API's docs what we were looking for and me finally managed- Web scraping to get our ambassadors contacts -> This part was actually easy and fun- Creating a homemade score to rank our creators that updates daily -> This score required team work with the Marketing to adjust the most/less important criteriasThese experiences taught me a lot about BigQuery, Data Studio, MongoDB, APIs, SQL...But most importantly, I learned that solutions exist everywhere.When I was stuck, I searched : stack overflow, documentation deliver many answers and one of them has got to fit.
