From a young age, I’ve always loved talking to everyone at all times. As most young teens, I was constantly on every social media platform, waiting for the news of a new feature or new content.Throughout high school, every teacher always asked me what I wanted to do when I was older. Unlike most of my friends who knew exactly what they wanted to do, I had absolutely no clue. I always just said "I want to be a nurse". I always said that because I loved to help people, and I thought that was the only way I could. However, I was terrible in every science class. Maybe it wasn’t the best career path for me. One day, when I was driving with my mom, she asked me what I wanted to do and I said I had no clue, yet again. She pointed at a McDonalds billboard and said "Why not Advertising?” I thought about it for weeks and weeks, and then it hit me, YES. That is what I want to do. Years later, I'm finished my third and last year of the Advertising and Marketing Program at Algonquin College. I also have successfully completed the Digital Marketing Program with the University and Ottawa in accordance with Soshal Marketing Agency, and am currently completing my last year of the Bachelor of Commerce, option in Marketing program at the University of Ottawa. Advertising and Marketing not only is such an interesting career path, but it allows me to help companies build their brand and create relationships with their audiences. It may not be the way I thought I would be helping people, but it sure is a passion that I want to explore.
