I am a Web Developer working on Responsive Web Apps in React and Angular. I am proficient in Frontend Web Development languages such as > Javascript> JQuery> HTML> CSSI regularly use systems such as Linux for my programming projects. I love learning more about new technologies and systems. Troubleshooting code and finding new solutions are some of my favorite things to do. Right now, I am a student at NC State University. I am a Junior working towards a BS in Computer Science, concentrating on Game Development. NC State has allowed me to grow my technical skill in Object-Oriented programming languages such as > Java> C/C++> C#as well as learn more about REST APIs, technical processes, Github, and unit testing with systems such as JUnit. I am a consistently hard worker, earning high marks throughout my Bachelor’s degree. During my undergraduate, I successfully coordinated a team of peers for Software Development projects by communicating essential information effectively and offering guidance when necessary. Additionally, I have also pursued professional opportunities to build my skills. Because I like to take on new challenges, I wanted to acquire practical web development experience. In this way, I became a Full-Stack Co-op at Kadro Solutions Inc. I have used Magento to help build user-friendly experiences through the Admin, Codebase, SQL Queries, and more. I have worked with > PHP> XML> PHTML to best accommodate customer expectations by creating sites according to customer specifications, adding/editing site functionalities, and upgrading sites to match up-to-date versions. In this role, I used systems such as JIRA and Bitbucket to facilitate the Agile process and match best practices. Outside of this, I am interested in a multitude of projects that provide new challenges to me every day. This includes Game Development and Computer Science education. I want to maintain and foster free access to Computer Science education for a wide range of simple and complex topics. I also want to improve the quality of education for Computer Science topics to allow more people access to coding skills.
