Over the last nine years I have worked to help students make a healthy and meaningful transition to college in New York City through a variety of professional positions in Residential Life at Barnard College and Fordham University. Working in these departments has afforded me the unique opportunity to recruit, select, and train student leaders from across the University to become Resident Assistants and Resident Freshman Mentors. As a supervisor and mentor, I have taken great care in establishing meaningful and supportive relationships with students, which I believe has been paramount in helping them cultivate their leadership potential and prepare them for service to the University and beyond.
