Through the several roles I have filled in Australia, being a Solar Panels installer has given me most of my experience. I started as an apprentice 5 years ago knowing nothing about the industry or the way it works. Nowadays, I have the completely autonomy of decision in the activities I perform, being allocated to work in NSW, Queensland and ACT. my main function comprehends the solar installation of the roof which includes, mounting of racks to support the panels, cabling, installation of panels and testing of the system. Following the standard procedures in every state. however, i have extended my experience to perform Networking activities, helping electrician and customers with the commissioning, and setting up the system in the cloud and the face-to-face customer advice.Back in Colombia, I worked 2 years for an international media agency called PHD, just before coming to Australia. in my first year under the role of Data Scientist, I used to perform Data Analytics about the publicity made by our customers and their competitors, my main functions were to create daily and weekly reports with the development and performance of the campaigns published from the main competitors, brand performance presentations and monthly performance reports. I also used to do weekly Newsflash with the trends on the industry.It took me a year to get promoted as Buyer, being assigned to work with brands like HP (Hewlett Packard), Honda and other recognised Colombian brands, my main responsibilities were supporting the executive accountant on the marketing plan creation for every brand, and being the middleman between customer and agency to buy the spaces according to the marketing plan, ensuring the correct execution of every advertising piece, following the marketing campaign from beginning to end, generating rating reports of every piece published.
