The role of Digital Services Manager is a position defined by continual change, expansion, and learning. Responsibilities & Highlights- Manage the Digital Services Specialist- Train staff and customers to use CNC machine, 3D printers, laser cutter and our digital collection- Led teams for planning and execution of MakerLab, Game Rooms (2), and Digital Studios (2)- Manage MakerLab, Gaming Rooms (2) and screen share spaces (3)- Select and implement online databases- Expert on digital services including Libby, hoopla, PressReader, Freegal and Kanopy

Prior to my role as the Digital Services Manager, I was a Youth Services Librarian for nearly five years. In my time as a Youth Services Librarian I developed new programs that leveraged the capabilities of technology as a tool to create and teach. I authored instructional posts, shared projects on the library’s tech blog, helped to start a thriving youth services technology networking group (TINKER), and was invited to speak at local, state, & national library conferences.
