Candace currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer for SolomonEdwards (SEG), a national professional services firm, and is a member of SEG’s executive leadership team. Candace is responsible for driving excellence in the delivery of SEG's professional services, and for developing and implementing strategies that will increase SEG’s revenue growth, enhance client engagement success, and maximize profitability. Candace joined SEG in 2007 and founded and served as Managing Partner of SEG’s coast to coast Banking and Financial Services Practice (BFS). She also founded and served as the Managing Partner of the Central Region, covering major delivery hubs in Houston, Dallas and Chicago.For most of her tenure at SEG, she has worked directly with public and private clients to devise, implement and monitor strategies to improve profitability and enhance employee experience and retention. In addition, for clients in highly regulated industries such as banking, she led teams of business transformation experts who reengineered processes to ensure regulatory compliance while meeting profitability goals, managing project teams comprising as many as 1,000 consultants.Her BFS clients have included large commercial and mortgage banks, the major GSEs (FNMA and FHLMC), large seller-servicers and the FDIC and the SBA. Candace also acts as a subject matter expert on BFS projects related to audit and compliance, as well as to loss mitigation and other operational business process improvement projects for mortgage banks and servicers.Before joining SEG, she was Managing Director of Consulting Services at Clayton Services where she provided operational business solutions and process improvement services to the Mortgage and Investment Banking industry. She specialized in counter party risk reviews and large business process improvement projects for the GSE’s and mortgage banks. Prior to that, she spent 18 years at Horn Murdock Cole & Company (an Accretive Solutions Company) where she held various positions of increasing responsibility, including Vice President of Consulting Services for the Houston office and National Director of the Financial Services Practice. In this role, she managed a team of 120 consultants delivering operational and financial business solutions and process improvement services to both public and private commercial and mortgage institutions. Candace began her career at Arthur Andersen & Co. in Houston, Texas after graduating from the University of Tulsa with a bachelor’s degree in accounting.
