I am in a unique role with a unique company.I am the Customer Service Specialist and Human Resources Manager at Total Door Systems. I began in my human resources role right out of college and have transitioned into a primary customer service role. I have been with the company for nearly three years and in that time, I have experience in working with architects, engineers, hotels, fire safety personnel and others to ensure that they have the latest information on life safety building codes and product options to ensure compliance. I am the primary presenter for our life safety and building code courses. I am passionate about my work, bringing high energy and positivity. It is incredibly gratifying to help build awareness about building codes and products that protect lives, and to build awareness about products like Total Door Systems that help buildings seamlessly comply with all life safety and compartmentation needs. I find that my role is rewarding as I am helping to promote a product that is certified for life safety. At Total Door Systems nothing is more important than our people and I enjoy keeping involved with the people side of our business in my HR Manager role. HR is ever-changing to make things better – through strategies, training, tools and more. In my free time, you will find me on the volleyball courts. Indoor or outdoor, year-round I am playing. I am proud to be at a company that allows me to be independent and strive towards goals I can make on my own with enough support to give me comfort in doing so. The connections I am making and all that I am learning has been exciting for me. There is rarely a dull moment and I like it that way. I am a firm believer that we can turn “no” into “yes”.I am always happy to connect with like-minded door and hardware professionals as well as human resources professionals.
