As a preschool teacher, I am in charge of planning and implementing creative, engaging lessons on a daily basis. My main focus is designing and implementing phonics and math lessons, but I also incorporate social studies, science, art, health, and physical education. I must also balance classroom management in order to maintain a structured, positive learning environment that is beneficial to all my students.

As a substitute teacher, I needed to be flexible and positive as I entered a classroom, implementing the lesson plans left to me by the classroom teacher.
